There are lots of awesome singers here in the Philippines and here is my list of the 10 amazing singers (in no particular order) of all time.
GARY VALENCIANO – Edgardo Jose Martin Santiago Valenciano in real name, Gary Valenciano (shortened to Gary V) is a multi-talented performer - a singer, a song writer, a record producer, a dancer and an actor. Among his most remarkable songs include Di Bale Na Lang, Sana Maulit Muli, Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?, Gaya ng Dati, Pasko na Sinta Ko, Narito. He is best known for many songs most especially those that became famous theme songs for movies and drama series. While his energetic dance moves made him dubbed as "Mr. Pure Energy" in the Philippine Entertainment Scene.
CHARICE PEMPENGCO - better known by her screen name Charice is a Filipina singer who became a singing sensation throughout the world through YouTube. At a very tender age of 7 she started joining singing contests and become widely known in her native Philippines as she won third place in Little Big Star (patterned after American Idol) at 12. Dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as the Most Talented Girl in the World, she released her first international studio album, Charice in 2010. The song “Pyramid” featuring Iyaz has become her most successful single to-date. At the age of 17, she already performed with the biggest singer superstars in the world like Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli and more.
MARTIN NIEVERA – also known as the Concert King of the Philippines is a song writer, an actor and is also one of the main hosts of Musical Variety Show ASAP on ABS-CBN. Born to Bert Nievera and Conchita Razon, Martin spent most of his childhood in Hawaii. Inspired by his father's talent and success, he returned to the Philippines in 1982 to pursue his own musical career. Be My Lady, Forever, You are my Song, Forever, Say that You Love Me are just some of his popular music back in the olden days.
LEA SALONGA An international singer / actress known for her Tony award winning performance in Miss Saigon and roles in Les Miserable on Broadway. She is also known as the singing voice of two Disney Princesses - Jasmine in 'Aladdin' in 1992 and Fa Mulan in 'Mulan' in 1998 as well as in 2004. She was then named a Disney Legend in 2011 for her work at the Disney Company.

JOSE MARI CHAN – Who wouldn’t know the tune of the popular ballad songs Beautiful Girl, Constant Change, Please Be Careful With my Heart to name a few, sang in a very soft, heart-warming voice by Jose Mari Chan – a Filipino-Chinese singer, song writer and a businessman at the same time who has been awarded the Elite Platinum Award issued by ABS-CBN for the first time in 2005 and Dr. Jose P. Rizal Award for Excellence in 2006.
REGINE VELASQUEZ – a Filipino singer, actress, dubbed as the Asia's Songbird after winning the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest in HongKong and is widely known for possessing a wide vocal range. Velasques was the first Asian artist to stage a solo concert at the Main Hall of Carnegie Hall, part of Carnegie Hall's centennial-year concert series.
FRANCIS MAGALONA - Tagged as the Master Rapper of the Philippines. Francis Magalona other known as Kiko or Francis M was the first Philippine-based Filipino to record a rap album, Yo!, in 1989 that produced his signature hit, Mga Kababayan Ko! Magalona is a multi-talented artist possessing the talents of a songwriter, a producer, director and an actor and a painter. He can play harmonica and produced melodies using megaphones or microphones. In 2008, her was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia that caused his death at the age of 44 in March 2009.

LANI MISALUCHA - is a singer from the Philippines currently performing in the United States where she also resides. She did pop, rock, jazz, soul, rhythm and blues and operatic arias. She was hailed as “Asia’s Nightingale” with Lyric Coloratura Soprano voice. She was dubbed also as the “Multiplex Queen” and the “New Siren of the Strip” on her arrival in Las Vegas in 2004. Misalucha is known for mimicking popular voices of Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Toni Braxton, Beyonce Knowles, Shania Twain, Britney Spears as well as voices of some Filipino divas.

OGIE ALCASID – Herminio Alcasid, Jr. by birth name is a Filipino singer, songwriter/composer, a television host, an actor and a comedian. At the age of 21, Alcasid started his singing career and have successfully produced five gold records, three platinum and another three double platinum records. After his failure marriage to Australian beauty queen Michelle van Eimeren, Alcasid married the Asia’s Song Bird, Regine Velasquez in December 2010.
JED MADELA - John Edward Tajanlangit, better known by his stage name, Jed Madela is a Filipino recording artist and a TV host. Jed made waves during the 2005 World Championship of the Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood, California when he single-handedly won all major industry awards. He bested over 3,000 contestants from 52 countries to win the grand prize. He is known for his hit songs How Can I Fall, The Past, The Search is Over, and Love Always Finds a Way.
